Welcome to the new web supplement to Jerry Kang, Communications Law & Policy (3d ed. Foundation 2009).  (If you are UCLA School of Law student looking for the next assignment, get to my Commlaw course page.) 

For students and faculty who are using the casebook, here are links to useful supplemental materials. You’ll find links to background information, government agencies, key stakeholders and litigants, and the kinds of information that a curious student of the field would find useful.

If you are considering adopting this book, take a look around and get a sense of how the book is uniquely organized. The Preview section includes pdfs of the preface and table of contents. Each of the chapter pages include pdf excerpt files that show the first 3 pages of the chapter.   Questions and inquires are welcome.

Learning communications law and policy is extraordinarily challenging but extremely important. I’ve tried my best to create a casebook that will be a rewarding educational experience. The second edition was a substantial improvement on the first. The third edition is even better.  I hope you agree. Enjoy.
